Paperdoll Art Studio is not simply a splatter room. We are an artist-led studio based within Wimbledon Art Studios—London’s biggest artistic community and home to more than 350 working artists, designers and makers.
Your session is led by a practising professional artist. Our team includes trained, exhibiting and gallery-represented artists with years of professional experience. We do more than hand you paint and leave you to make a mess.
We help you choose a sophisticated colour palette, show you how different movements and techniques affect the paint, and guide you in developing a composition that feels balanced, expressive and completely your own.
The experience is energetic, freeing and genuinely fun—but we also take your artwork seriously. Our aim is for every guest to leave with an original painting they truly love and will be proud to display.

A fun, hands-on art experience where you splash, flick, pour and throw paint onto a canvas to create your own unique masterpiece.

After getting suited up in our protective gear, you'll be guided through different splatter techniques before creating your own colourful artwork.

Yes. Your booking includes your canvas, paints, protective clothing, safety equipment and guidance from one of our practising artists.

Our Splatter experiences last around 1-2 hours.

We provide protective overalls, gloves, shoe covers and safety glasses. We recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting a little paint on.

Probably! That's all part of the fun. While we provide protective clothing, a few colourful splashes are always possible.

The paint is water-based, but we recommend wearing older clothing as some colours may stain.

Absolutely. Every participant takes home their own artwork.

Your painting is usually ready for collection after around 3 days. For intro and children’s class, if you'd prefer to take it home with you, takeaway boxes are available for £5 each.

Yes. If you’re unable to collect your artwork in person, we can arrange courier delivery for you. Shipping costs vary depending on the size of the artwork and delivery location.

Simply choose your preferred experience, date and time through our online booking system.

Yes. You can cancel or reschedule your booking with at least 48 hours' notice, in accordance with our booking policy.

Yes. Gift certificates are available for all of our experiences.

Yes. Free on-site parking is available. Simply add your vehicle registration at checkout when making your booking.

Public sessions are shared with others, while private sessions give your group exclusive use of the space and bigger canvas to work on.

Food isn't permitted in the painting area. However, you're welcome to enjoy food and refreshments in our communal area after your class.

Adults are welcome to bring their own drinks to selected sessions.
