I’m Alma Tipon, the founder of Paperdoll Art Studio and a professional artist based at Wimbledon Art Studios in London. My journey into the world of art began with a passion for self-expression and a love for exploring the beauty of textures, colours, and layers. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft, specialising in textured art and birds-eye view seascapes, blending acrylic ink, metallics, blues, and to create pieces that evoke a sense of depth and serenity.
Art has been more than just a career for me—it’s been a way of life, a source of healing, and a tool for empowerment. Through my studio, I strive to share that joy and freedom with others, whether they’re beginners discovering their creative side or experienced artists looking to elevate their work. I also take pride in mentoring aspiring artists, helping them turn their passion into a thriving career.
At Paperdoll Art Studio, I lead hands-on workshops, offering a space for creativity, connection, and inspiration. My classes are designed to be welcoming, supportive, and filled with opportunities to explore new techniques in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
When I’m not teaching or creating, I find inspiration in the everyday textures of life—architecture, peeling paint, industrial walls, and the natural flow of water. These influences often find their way into my work, creating pieces that are as raw as they are elegant, always with a touch of golden brass for a hint of glamour.
