Based at Wimbledon Art Studios, we offer a diverse range of painting styles and mediums. Our classes welcome all skill levels, whether youβre a first-time painter or an experienced artist. We currently have 15 artists leading classes.

FounderAlma Tipon is the founder of Paperdoll Art Studio and a professional artist based at Wimbledon Art Studios in London. Her artistic journey began with a deep passion for self-expression and a fascination with the beauty of textures, colours, and layers. Over the years, Alma has developed her craft, specialising in textured art and birds-eye view seascapes. Her work is known for its captivating blend of metallics, turquoise blues, evoking depth and serenity.
For Alma, art is more than a professionβit is a way of life, a source of healing, and a means of empowerment. Through Paperdoll Art Studio, she shares the joy and freedom of creativity with others, offering a range of workshops designed for beginners discovering their artistic side and experienced creators aiming to refine their skills. Alma also takes pride in mentoring aspiring artists, helping them turn their passion into successful careers.
Alma collaborates with other well-trained artists, empowering them by providing a platform to share their talents while ensuring her students receive diverse, high-quality instruction. From a young age, Alma has been driven by her desire to create art and share it with others. Today, she proudly runs two art studios, fulfilling her dream of building a creative and supportive community.
At Paperdoll Art Studio, Alma leads hands-on classes in a welcoming and supportive environment, encouraging participants to explore new techniques in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. Outside the studio, she draws inspiration from the everyday textures of lifeβarchitecture, peeling paint, industrial walls, and the natural flow of water. These influences are evident in her work, which balances raw elements with a touch of golden brass to add an elegant, glamorous finish.

ArtistKat Vestgard is a Norwegian-born artist who found her creative home in South West London. After traveling the world, she settled in London in 2004, where she explored painting, interior design, makeup artistry, and hairdressing. Her art is inspired by the pulse of urban life and the timeless appeal of vintage aesthetics.
Kat studied art in Norway before refining her craft at Central Saint Martins in London, developing her bold, vibrant style, which she calls βGlam graffiti.β Blending rich colors, metallics, and textures, her work fuses vintage charm with modern edge. Based at Wimbledon Art Studios, her paintings range from abstract shapes to nature-inspired pieces, each sealed with her signature wax initials, adding a personal, handcrafted touch.Get to know Kat better click here

ArtistAnnam Butt is a London based classically trained artist. Her work explores themes of the Orient, still-lives with narrative and figurative work often all painted from life. Her British Pakistani heritage often influences subtle themes in her work as well as collecting macabre objects of curiosity and antiquity, she uses these objects to build narrative in her paintings.
Annam was consecutively awarded the De Laszlo scholarship in 2018-2019 to help aid her exploration in her craft, it is through the scholarship that she discovered the works of The Orientalists which sparked her obsession with representation of all kinds. Her preferred medium is oil paints and charcoal but is not limited to them. Annam Often experiments with different painting surfaces such as aluminium and copper which adds an element of contrast to her work.

ArtistLouisa is a London-based mixed media artist known for her imaginative yet highly technical work, blending traditional figurative art with urban influences. She creates original pieces on oxidized steel and has recently produced a series of watercolor portraits. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including London, Edinburgh, Chicago, Tel Aviv, Budapest, and Vienna, and is held in private and corporate collections worldwide. Louisa has been commissioned by celebrity clients, including musicians and Hollywood A-listers.
Her debut collection gained recognition at the Saatchi Gallery, and she has won awards like the Sothebyβs Young International Art and the Jerwood Drawing Prize. Louisaβs unique process involves sgraffito, where she grinds the oxidized steel to reveal previous layers, creating depth and texture. Her latest work pushes the limits of the oxidation process, allowing nature to help form the image.

ARTISTIshbel Fleming-Boyd is a Scottish artist bringing the vibrancy of Botanical beauty to South West London, dedicating herself to the captivating world of flowers and plants.
Producing delicate and beautiful artwork in watercolour, graphite, pen and ink. She creates scientifically accurate representations with exact colour, size and detail. She works from living, moving subjects which adds an intriguing challenge to her craft.

ArtistLuke Nolan is a portrait painter and draughtsman, trained at Charles Cecil Studios in Florence Italy, painting portraiture from nature to the scale of life, with a specific interest in classical sculpture and baroque painting. He currently teaches at London Fine Arts Studios alongside commissions and his personal practice.
